Follow Your Heart

I just returned from a short trip to Edmonton; two days packed full of activity and blessings. I had not thought it would be possible; the idea came to me about a week before my nephew was scheduled to compete in the Pan Am Jr. Championships Saturday 1 August in Edmonton, Canada.

Flight prices were high. However, as the days went by, the idea did not go away. I was scheduled to help at Love Peace Harmony World Family events in Vancouver the same weekend; still the idea did not go away. In addition to the Pan Am Jr. Championships, there are three dear soul sisters in the Love Peace Harmony World Family team living in Edmonton; a trip there would provide an opportunity for in-person connection.

Thursday 30 July I got the message to check for a flight again; amazingly the price of a ticket for the trip (and only those two days) had reduced by half! There was one ticket left for the Vancouver to Edmonton segment. I booked it and with no attachment, wrote an email asking if there was anyone who could take my place if I were to go to Edmonton. The emails came back within a few hours offering assistance; thank you team!

So I booked a ticket for the return segment, let my soul sisters in Edmonton know that I would be visiting and went to work (Friday.) First one offered to pick me up at the airport, then another offered me a place to stay and my brother offered to get me a ticket to watch the Pan Am Jr Championships; I am so blessed!

The Role of Heart in Manifesting Reality

I had not seen my brother and sister-in-law for many years and had never attended in person any of my nephew's races. It was such a joy visiting my soul sisters, a joy visiting my brother and sister-in-law, a joy watching my nephew running!

Even the return trip was blessed. I was offered a ride to the airport, and found out that my flight had been delayed an hour. I heard the earlier flight being announced and asked if I might be allowed on; I was offered a seat and arrived safely an hour ahead of schedule. Heartfelt thanks to my brother, sister-in-law, nephew, soul brothers and soul sisters and more for this wonderful experience!
